Pokemon Go Gen 4 release COUNTDOWN following major update news
Niantic has confirmed that new Pokemon from the Sinnoh will be added to the game soon, although they failed to provide an exact date.
But data miners have found more evidence that suggests Trainers won’t be waiting long.
And now players have found that a new update is being pushed to Android and iOS, which contains the first wave of Gen 4 Pokemon.
This new APK file includes patch notes that confirm the release of Sinnoh Pokemon is coming soon, among other new features.
This includes Pokemon GO AR+ becoming available on select Android devices, Friend Requests and Gift notifications stacking, as well as being able to select multiple Pokemon at a time when preparing to battle at a Gym.
These features look set to launch with the first wave of Gen 4 Pokemon, which could arrive as soon as Friday, October 12.
Niantic hinted in a recent trailer that they will launch the Gen 4 starters first, however, it should also be noted that all 107 Pokemon could be added in the next update.
That doesn’t mean they are arriving in the game together, only that they will be available for Niantic to add to live servers whenever they wish.
No release date has been found in the APK, but the fact that is now being found by players suggests that Niantic will release it in the coming days.
Some Trainers believe the new update could be released on Friday, while others believe Niantic will wait to finish their Psychic Spectalur and launch on Monday.
Whenever it does, happen, it’s going to be a big patch.
While there’s tons of new Pokemon from Gen 4 now being loaded for release, data miners also found new moves.
These moves won’t just be locked to the new Pokemon coming to the game but will also be available for Gen 1 and Gen 2 Pocket Monster to learn too.
Other additions being made to the game will include a list of Pokedex badges, although the assets are missing from this part of the update.
This could mean that Niantic will launch a series of smaller update before they release their next major patch.
Niantic themselves haven’t shared any information on their plans for the Gen 4 release, apart from the below statement:
“Are you ready for a Sinnoh adventure? We’re excited to let you know that in preparation for the arrival of Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, we are making two key shifts to the game balance in the coming weeks.
“These changes are based on Trainer feedback and are designed to promote an improved overall experience.
“Moving forward, you can expect to see further tweaks designed to help Trainers and their Pokémon reach their full potential.
“We’re looking forward to experiencing these changes with you as we explore the world together! Let’s get out there and GO.”
Here are the patch notes expected with the big Pokemon Go update:

Amy Winehouse's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil stuns 'Good Morning Britain' audience with shocking appearance

All market data delayed 20 minutes. </p><p>Amy Winehouse's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil's appearance shocked "Good Morning" viewers today as he slammed her dad's plans for a hologram tour.</p><p>The 36-year-old was married to the late singer from 2007 to 2009 with the pair having a notoriously turbulent relationship.</p><p>Appearing on today's show, Blake shared his unhappiness at Mitch Winehouse's plans to stage a hologram tour for his daughter's fans.</p><p>Blake said: "The way I feel about the actual hologram itself it's no different to watching a video clip or listening to her music.</p><p>"I object to every sort of opportunity that's been made, it seems since Amy passed away seven years ago there's been three films, a hologram tour, to me I can't see many other reasons for this tour."</p><p>However host Piers Morgan pointed out Blake had also cashed in on his late wife's memory by selling his story to the press.</p><p>Blake said it wasn't "life-changing money" and added: "To call it cashing in is a bit misleading, I would have done it without any money but the reason I ended up taking money was I had been in a situation where I found it really hard to get a job and couldn't really earn money any other way."</p><p>In response to his comments, Amy's family released a statement that read:  "All the family’s proceeds from the hologram tour will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which is helping 1000s of young people around the UK and abroad through its drugs and alcohol education, music programmes, women's recovery house and much more.</p><p>"Though there has been a positive reaction from her fans, not everyone has to welcome the hologram. But ultimately Amy believed passionately in helping those in need and that is a vital part of her legacy we want to secure."</p><p>Later on the show Blake also tried to defend claims he was the one who got Amy — who died at 27 — into hard drugs during their relationship.</p><p>He said: "The drug thing has been attributed to me for years, the fact me and Amy only used drugs together six months of our marriage.</p><p>"I'm not willing to be the only person to take responsibility.</p><p>"I feel like I'm the only one who has taken responsibility since Amy died.</p><p>"People don't realize Amy didn't do anything Amy didn't want to do.</p><p>"I will always carry a burden of guilt of how I should have acted."</p><p>However, viewers were too distracted by his appearance to pay much attention to what he was saying.</p><p>One wrote on Twitter: "Kids, Blake Fielder-Civil on #GMB should be a warning to live healthily and brush your teeth."</p><p>Another added: "Omg amy winehouse's husband is a state #gmb" while a third tweeted: "What a mess.....The blake fellow is...get him off."</p><p>A fourth agreed, writing: "Blake should be on #jeremykyle #gmb."</p><p>This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed. ©2018 FOX News Network, LLC. Others, however, were more cryptic about the details that led to their particular injuries.</p><p>Here's a look at a handful of stars who suffered or revealed their injuries this year.</p><p>The "America's Got Talent" judge, sporting a purple sling in the photo, said she had to have a three-hour surgery to "repair the damage."</p><p>"I've had to, unfortunately, cancel my book signing today in NY, I apologize to each and everyone one of you who bought there tickets to meet me today," she wrote on Instagram, noting she was still in a great deal of pain. "I’m absolutely gutted but I can assure you it WILL happen at a later date, I promise."</p><p>Candace Cameron Bure's older brother, Kirk Cameron, took responsibility for a gruesome hand injury Bure suffered during a go-karting trip in early December, admitting it was his "fault completely."</p><p>"I'm a crazy driver," Cameron explained in an Instagram story, as Bure was being treated in the emergency room. "I tried to cut her off and take the lead."</p><p>"Went go-karting with my brother and two sisters. I've been released now, but was in the ER," Bure later explained to her Instagram followers. "Clearly I am fine ... got some damage to my hand — but it's not broken, and my shoulder, but it's not broken."</p><p>A month later, Underwood opened up about the incident in her first televised interview since that dreadful day.</p><p>At the time of the accident, Underwood says she was alone — with only her 3-year-old son, Isaiah, upstairs. She was rushed to the hospital, where she recovered away from the public eye.</p><p>Slowly, but surely, Underwood said she's been trying to "get back to normal."</p><p>Drew Barrymore vowed to "never do [her] own stunts again" after suffering a massive concussion while filming the first season of the "Santa Clarita Diet" in 2016.</p><p>“That was the end of a wonderful era. I can look back at a bunch of movies that I totally was a baller and always threw myself in there," Barrymore said. “I whip it in ‘Charlie’s Angels.' But I will never do a stunt again because I could’ve died and it was really scary.”</p><p>The teen said she split her kneecap in a bad accident and was unable to move around easily. Brown apologized to adoring fans in an Instagram video, revealing her crutches and cast.</p><p>“I’ve never actually broken a bone except for now. I have split my kneecap,” Brown explained. “From the doctor’s orders, he told me to rest up. So, I won’t be attending the MTV Awards this weekend.”</p><p>Video from the scene obtained by Fox News showed a black SUV on its side on the road. The video also captured the star on the phone while being lifted into an ambulance.</p><p>The actor was traveling down I-5 freeway in Orange County in a chauffeur-driven SUV when it was side-swiped by another vehicle. Both suffered minor injuries.</p><p>A statement from Gilley's publicist on Jan. 5 said the two were injured when their car rolled over near Corrigan.
